Math: Today we solved decimal problems using visuals. We converted problems to fractions, solved and then compared them to our visual.
Language Arts: We discussed character development of Mr. Loski and Mr. Baker. Students are writing an essay about one of the characters. They will use the Leaf Rubric and make a thesis statement with strong adjectives to describe their thoughts about the character. They will then use support from the text to defend their thesis statement.
Science: Students are continuing work on their adaptation creatures. It would be good to encourage them to use these links to find out more information so that they can incorporate more detail into their writing. Desert Links
They can choose any format of technology to present their work which is due on Monday.
